Games are an important tool for learning in mathematics classrooms. Playing games encourages strategic mathematical thinking, often with patterns and computations, as students find different strategies for solving problems. Donations for this project will help improve the learning experiences for my students by providing activities that will allow them to think deeply while having fun. Providing time to play games such as the ones listed in my project will help set the culture I want to develop in my mathematics classroom: multiple approaches and strategies are valued; trying is safe; and engaging in problem solving will help us grow our brain!
