English language learners will use the tablets to gain proficiency in English, prepare for the ACCESS test, and become better English-speaking members of society. The ACCESS test requires students to speak, listen, read, and write in English to meet proficiency levels. Most of my students were unable to access vital educational resources during the pandemic and have a lot of work ahead to close the achievement gap. These tablets will provide access to educational English language programs including Lexia, translation needs, Book Creator, OSMO, and other EL adaptable websites.
