Our district provides our students with a basal reader, older than 15 years, and black/white paper A-Z books. The basal readers provides on or above grade level text for each student. The paper A-Z books are black and white copies on their reading level. However, they are so unappealing and uninteresting the kids wont give them any of their attention, I don't blame them! I am asking for appealing exciting text on their reading level. It impossible to do small reading groups without multiples of the same text. Please help me put appropriate reading material in the hands of my at-risk students!
