All of my students are curious, loving, and helpful. Most students live in the neighborhood Housing Projects and face challenges and experiences that one can only imagine. Their parents and guardians were also raised in the Bridgeport area and have suffered the educational inequity that is prevalent throughout the city. These supplies will give my students the opportunity to be creative in the classroom, make mistakes, and become outstanding citizens in their community. My first year of teaching allowed me to learn the challenges of teaching and how to be a positive member of the community. Every child deserves a great education. Please consider the lives of the students in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Thank you.
