Because many students struggle with reading comprehension and fluency, we have started a guided reading program at our school. With quality reading materials, my students will be able to build fluency and reading comprehension skills which will make a huge impact on their future! The books I am requesting are on my students' target reading levels and will go a long way in guiding their reading success. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' reading comprehension through use of meaningful texts. With the help of this project, students will each have a copy of a text to use during guided reading, and will be able to focus on their individual reading goals.
