Having a variety of flexible seating options in the classroom is key to helping every student throughout the day. Balance balls, wiggle chairs and balance cushions can help students by allowing movement, providing sensory experiences, increasing focus during independent work and group projects. This allows students to focus and give their best effort. Students can make choices to use these items and move throughout the classroom based on the type of activity they are completing and how they are feeling. With these choices available, students are able to independently problem solve and find the most advantageous work situation. These items allow students to have a little wiggle room to do their very best every moment of the day.

About my class
