My class is full of an array of different types of learners. Some students have a hard time learning while sitting at a traditional classroom desk. Some students require an individual, flexible workspace to respond in a whole group setting. I want to give my students an opportunity to access information in the way that works best for them. Flexible seating and creative ways to work and respond provide opportunities to access learning in the most efficient way. These items increase opportunities to increase classroom engagement, focus, and productivity. Showing support for a student-centered classroom helps create a classroom from a child's point of view.
