Hearing authentic literature read aloud is essential for young learners. It enhances their imaginations, builds vocabulary and creates a love of reading. We need a CD player, wireless headphones and sets of books on CD for students to get lost in while at our state of the art listening center. Wireless headphones are a 'must' for kindergarten because while they love being independent, tangled up headphone wires are a big obstacle! We already have a corner set up for our new listening center with a rug, cozy seating, and colorful bins to organize! We can not wait to get started!
