I am working very hard toward providing flexible seating and learning options for my classroom this year. I have heard (and seen!) the benefits of flexible seating. I can't imagine sitting in the same straight-back chair for seven hours each day! I am hoping that bean bags, stools, and standing desks can improve my students' levels of comfort and therefore, improve their focus! I'm also very hopeful that our class receives the noise blocking headsets. Our students have numerous behavioral and academic needs and headphones are a great way to increase focus as well! I really want to provide my students with any and all tools to help them succeed this year- especially in preparation for the middle school (sixth grade)!
