The classroom environment directly impacts a child's learning. I strive to create a calming, comfortable, and friendly learning environment for all of my students. A variety of seating options will allow for my students to select the seating option that best meets their individual learning needs. I have several students who are heavy rockers and access to a rocking chair will allow for them to meet that need while still learning with their peers. The chair bouncy bands help meet the need of many of my students who or more busy and learn best when they can move; the bouncy bands allow for those students to move without distracting their neighbor. Providing a variety of seating options will not only make it possible for them to reach their current learning potential but also reinforce that everyone has their own unique strengths and needs, and that is ok! I hope to create a welcoming environment where my students feel safe and comfortable learning and growing in their own, unique way. Thank you for considering partnering with me on my goal to create a calming, engaging, and safe learning environment!
