My students are in need of pillows, a rug, a lamp and a bookshelf for a reading lounge. Lastly, they need some non-fiction books to further the research of all their interests of becoming future professionals of America. These elements will foster an enticing and inviting environment that will encourage reading as well as educate the students about subjects and careers that interest them. This setup will allow students to explore reading about thought provoking topics in relaxing and comfortable to space. They will also have an opportunity to choose books that interest them that are on their reading level. The children love to read and I would like to continue to nurture their interest in independent reading.
