These are my fifth grade students from last year, but now it's on to second grade for me. This year I will teach my new class all subjects. After being a stay at home mom for 16 years, I re-entered the wonderful world of teaching as a fifth grade math teacher, but my heart is in teaching reading to young children. I still remember my favorite books from when I was in second grade. I am excited to pass this memory on to my new students. Please help me start my classroom library, so I can offer a world of reading to my new second grade class.
