By making use of 3Doodler technology, I can tap into the varied learning styles of my students with special needs while modeling concepts in geometry and algebra. The 3-dimensional printing pen offers the ability to structure lessons and projects in such a way as to implement important principles of Universal Design - multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression. The 3-Doodler pen is an engaging device that will allow students to be creative in an environment that can often be perceived as dry and difficult. My geometry students will be able to explore the figures that we study in both two and three dimensions. My algebra students will be able to explore patterns and functions while also using the 3-D pens to create unique representations of data.
