The Ipad and robotics materials will enhance STEAM curriculum within my 5th grade classroom. Students will be able to use the items to explore engineering, coding, and computer programming in the classroom. My students will be able to lead their own education through inquiry-based learning. Students will be able to collaborate at a team to explore, create and design the robotic in two different ways. Then they will be able to add the extension pieces to create even more. The students will then be able to use the Ipad to program and code the robot to complete tasks that only they can imagine. Putting the tools in the students hands is the first step to unlimited possibilities.
