For many students, this is their first year being in school and they are extremely eager to learn! In transitional kindergarten, a lot of the learning is experiential and I am frequently changing the space and materials that are presented. Through tactile/kinesthetic experiences such as tracing sandpaper letters, or molding playdoh into the shape of letters, these young scholars will develop fine motor skills and foundationals skills for reading and writing. Providing our youngest students with a rich curriculum and learning environment is a key indicator of their success not only academically, but socially and emotionally. Please help to grow these tiny brilliant seeds into mighty trees. With Love, Ms. D'Alessandro
