My classroom is a 4th grade Spanish Dual Language classroom at a Title I school in Burien, Washington. My students are talented, bilingual and multilingual students who engage in both literacy and content learning in both Spanish and English. My classroom allows students to engage in learning using creative collaboration with peers, hands-on exploration and projects, and thoughtful discourse. This allows students to gain literacy and content knowledge, build independence with a variety of skills, and become bilingual and biliterate scholars.

About my class
