The students are making magnificent strides in closing the education gap. These students, who were all pre-kindergarten/primary during Hurricane Katrina, are all still feeling the effects of this powerful incident that changed New Orleans. The students all come from low-income, urban neighborhoods, and the vast majority receive free lunch thanks to Federal funding. Our school is committed to preparing these scholars for their future. We are so excited to provide this opportunity.

About my class
