A huge goal in the 3rd grade is to support students in fostering a sense of independence and ownership over their work. These classroom supplies will not only help students take more pride in their work but will also help create a strong classroom culture that recognizes we learn differently, have ever-changing needs, and that we all make mistakes. The projector will be used daily to broadcast a digital morning message that will let students know the schedule for the day, have shout outs written by other students, and highlight specific strategies. The timer will help students monitor their progress and the easel will support us with our instruction happening on the rug. The headphones will be for some class Chromebooks that I am going to purchase during Back to School sales in August.
