Our school is located in Akron, NY and is the only elementary school in the district. My students enter the classroom eager and ready to learn. I am currently a 3rd grade classroom teacher working with students with a wide range of learning abilities. I am working on making my classroom more welcoming to my kiddos. I want them to feel comfortable and excited to be there. I hope to add new hands-on materials, flexible seating options, technology, and engaging books to enhance their learning experience. Making learning fun will help close the educational gap for my struggling learners.
