My students are in need of a classroom rug so we have a place to gather and learn together. Every morning we gather at the carpet for morning meeting and then again for calendar. Students use the carpet during our reading groups to read with a partner or just read by themselves. We also use the carpet during math stations to play games together. We spend a lot of time on the floor learning together and do not currently have a carpet that all my students can sit at. This rug also includes specific squares for each student so each student knows where they should be sitting.
