My students struggle with reading. For many of them, this is due to the focus and stamina reading requires. Students with ADHD and students who just can't help but fidget need seating options that allows for movement and energy release. Many of my ESL students are also discouraged from reading due to their struggle with vocabulary. These 6 chairs will be placed around my guided reading/small group table and will not only help students focus better, but will also get students excited to read and learn! These chairs will assist reluctant learners and students who often struggle with new content and need extra scaffolding and teacher guidance at the small group table. I want to create an inviting and exciting environment for learning that helps me best reach my students, an environment that helps them cope with their energy to maximize learning.
