Over 70% of my students are on free or reduced meals. Our classroom includes a diverse group of students with a variety of learning needs. My students have a desire to do well, no matter what their circumstances, when they have the tools needed to accomplish the task at hand. This year we will be incorporating more technology in the classroom in the form of student chromebooks. In many ways the new technology will help students be successful in a rigorous and challenging curriculum by providing more resources and tools than we have had in previous years, and will allow for more differentiation. However, this technology will pose certain challenges for many of the students while they are adapting to this new way of performing in the classroom.
