My students spend part of their day reading independently, and they love to get out of their seats to read! Last year, the students in my class read half of the words read by students in grades K-6! They read over 50,000,000 words last year! This year, I'm hoping that my students surpass that number, and I'd like to motivate them with a variety of fun new seating options. Students love to find comfortable places to read and do group work. I currently have three old beanbag chairs that the students use, but I want to give them more alternative seating options in class.
