Who likes sitting in a hard plastic chair all day? I know I don't, so why would my students? Children need movement to find themselves fully engaged in their learning. Allowing them to move and change their positions allows them to focus on their tasks, instead of how uncomfortable they are. Watching the kids on the playground is amazing. They love to run, jump, climb, and simply, be kids. These alternative seating options will allow my students to fully engage in their work and achieve academic success. After all, they are kids. They need the ability to move and interact. When their learning environment is fun and engaging, they will be responsible and productive students. This project will provide a variety of seating options for my students. Desks and chairs are a thing of the past. Students will be able to chose where they work to help boost their productivity.
