My name is Crissy Cantley and I am a first year teacher! Being a first year teacher comes with many challenges - creating the perfect classroom setting for meaningful learning experiences definitely fits into those sets of challenges. I would like to take care of the constant need for movement among many of my students. While visiting another school for a workshop, I noticed the teacher had "bouncy bands" attached the desks. The students LOVED them! Many of my students come from low-income homes where support is next to none. In addition, several suffer from ADHD, so the need to move is essential to maintaining a conducive learning environment. Unfortunately, I am not able to afford the cost of the bands due to having two children in college, my husband in college, and I am attending Grad School. Your donations, however, could make my dreams a reality.
