I teach special education classroom made up of 3rd-5th grade students. I have 12-15 students in my classroom. The students in my classroom function 1-3 years below grade level. They struggle with social skills and getting along. They have difficulty taking turns and accepting different opinions I teach at a school in the City of St. Louis. My students come from all over the city and for most of my students being at school is one of the safest places for the. It is my goal to create a safe, nurturing, and student centered classroom that promotes life long learning for all students.
