My students are a unique group of third graders who possess many talents and skills, but also face learning challenges. Each and every student brings a special aspect to our classroom and I couldn't imagine every day without a single one of them. My third grade classroom is an inclusive classroom which means students with and without disabilities are a part of our classroom. I serve students with Autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disabilities, typical students, and academically gifted students. This inclusive classroom setting allows my students to learn and grow not only educationally, but also as caring people that accept (and LOVE) each other's differences. Our classroom truly fosters a family like feel that allows students to take chances and always feel comfortable expressing their ideas.
