Carpets create opportunities for movement and a change in scenery. Bright colors help to enhance thinking and provide a positive learning space. A classroom should have multiple learning environments and opportunities to provide whole group instruction that are fun and hands-on. Sitting at a desk all day long can become boring, repetitive, and isolated for both the student and the teacher. Carpets provide opportunity for interaction, movement, and a different educational setting. The objective is to enhance student learning and improve school lives.
