My students are eager to learn and having a variety of books and activities will give them the opportunity to learn, and enjoy learning! Most of my students do not have books readily to read! They need exciting books that aid in their comprehension and give them the opportunity to go on the imaginary journeys they will always remember. In our class I seek to develop a love for reading and writing their own stories. Students' having the opportunity to these activities on a daily basis is and excellent way to build that desire to read and learn daily. These hands on materials will only make it a fun way to gain the foundation they will need for the 2nd grade. In addition, my students are more engaged and less disruptive when learning is visual, hands on, and verbal. Having these supplies will reach every student's interest, and provide this eager class of learners to grow.
