My project is to implement flexible seating in my classroom this fall. This means that when the students are working, they will have the freedom to find comfortable spaces around the room to work. Students do their best when they are comfortable. I believe it will give my students the best opportunity to meet their learning needs. It will help my students that have trouble sitting for long periods that need to move around and fidget. I am requesting a variety of flexible seating including bouncy bands, scoop rockers, balance balls, wobble chair, wobble discs, and also a bean bag.
