When reading time begins, students will grab books and hop on. Students will rotate taking turns on the bikes. They will get more reading done while burning off extra energy. These stationary bike pedals help calm students and improve their concentration and memory levels. They will also be useful in addressing kids who are fidgety or anxious. Students will be reading while working off some of their energy. I currently have one stationary bike in my classroom and I have seen an increase in students' attention span with more engagement in the learning process. I would like to offer this opportunity to more students in my classroom.
