These supplies will make a difference in the lives of the students in my classroom because many lost all their school supplies during Hurricane Florence. The colored pencils, markers, and paper trays will provide more resources for my students so that they do not have to worry about buying more. Many also lost their homes during this terrible storm and the flexible seating that would be the ball chairs and ball inflator, would make the classroom more open and welcoming to my students so that they can be comfortable in class. The impact of Hurricane Florence in our community was devastating and I only hope that I can continue to have a welcoming community in my classroom.
