After reading and visiting several classroom with flexible seating and hearing a great deal of positive feedback, I realized I needed this for my own kindergarten students. I already use clipboards along with carpet squares to provide some options on how they want to learn. Flexible seats will allow me to create a variety of seating options for these young minds to learn and grow. It will reduce the amount of behavior issues for those students who need to move around while learning. It will provide a calming place for students who just need to take a break. Students will have the opportunity to choose where and how they learn best. These little ones know what feels best to help them learn. They know what their bodies are feeling and need. Flexible seats will help provide that for them.
