I chose two desks/chairs that allow students to stand or sit while working. I will choose 2 "Special" students each week who will get to be teachers assistants and use the flexible seating for that week. Every student should feel special. I want every child to know that they are capable of being helpers and leaders. During the week, the chosen student (each student will get to be "special" 2 times per year) will get to sit at the adjustable desk which allows them the flexibility of either sitting or standing. They will also be the helpers for all jobs during their week to include line leader, mentor, pencil sharpener, etc...
