I enjoy spending my days as Librarian/Media Specialist at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. This is my first year in the library, and I love it! The high school is in a small rural district with very little industry. Unfortunately, this means little funding for our school. We have many old books that are worn, torn and simply not inviting to the students. Many are out of date. I have been able to buy some new books and some used books from eBay and Amazon, but I cannot afford more out of my pocket. The students get so excited about "NEW" books and cannot wait to read them. We also have a few books that were graciously donated to our library. Some of these books are part of a series, but we may only have the second book and the fourth book - not the others to complete a set. My students deserve new books to enjoy, to learn from, and to broaden their life experiences. Won't you make them feel special and help?
