My students are special in many ways. This year I am teaching dual language first grade! This means that I will be teaching reading, writing and social studies in English and my partner will teach math, science and lectura in Spanish. Our two classes will switch in the middle of the day, so I will have 42 students total this year! My students are ages six to seven. In addition, I work at a Title I school, which means that many of the families in our school community struggle with finances. 100% of students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. In addition, our school has many students who are learning English for the first time. Donating to my classroom would mean that you are providing materials for students who need them to learn.
