My students love creating things out of cardboard boxes and other recyclable materials during recess and choice time. I began to look for resources to help focus this passion more academically. I found Makedo products and knew this is what my students were missing. These Makedo tools will help my students grow with problem-solving and STEAM. I am extremely excited to use these in our geometry study. Our curriculum combines academic content with the arts. These tools will give my class another opportunity to show their knowledge through architecture and engineering. Our class came up with this materials list together and they could not stop talking about all the things they could create. They are really hoping to design their own recess toys. The plans they have now include forts, cars, cameras, and houses. This project will not only engage my students academically but help them grow creatively as well.
