I work at a Title I school, where about 70% of our student population are English Language Learners and 98% of our families are low-income or homeless. Many of our students come from migrant farming families and move frequently throughout their school year, sometimes going periods without being enrolled in school because of this. Our students come from wonderful, hardworking families and need a little extra love and support at school!
