We are implementing a creation station as a daily center in our classroom. We need a space for the storage of our recycled materials as well as a comfy spot to sit, think, create and then display our wonderful work. After we create, we will be using our creations for inspiration in our writing journals. Children will be writing about what they have created and how it works. This art and writing connection will give students a concrete basis for their work as writers. Those who are not yet writing will be able to use the Seesaw app to take pictures of their work and record their voice to tell their classmates what they have created and how they envision it working.
