Picture this: You and your friends are trapped in a spaceship and must reach Earth! You must use all of your knowledge about space travel to make the return trip home! Except, you aren't really in a spaceship, you're in a classroom, and you aren't trying to fly a ship home, you are learning and reviewing. The requested supplies will be used to build a classroom escape room in which students use their knowledge of science to break out of class! We need a variety of locks, an invisible ink pen, a black light flashlight and other supplies. By donating to our project, you will provide students with opportunities to master science skills in a collaborative, fun, and safe environment. With these supplies, I can transform our classroom into an environment that encourages teamwork while enhancing leadership skills. Students will use UV flashlights to find hidden clues across the room. These clues will allow them to answer questions that lead them to the storage boxes which contain the key to escape the room! These activities will test students on their science knowledge without having them sit at a desk. These materials will enrich the science curriculum in a new and exciting way!
