My students will be able to use the OSMO during small group stations and independent learning stations. I will have up to 30 students, and it will provide an opportunity to have multiple students participate in the activity. Over half of my students are on the free and reduced lunch program. The OSMO gives my students the opportunity to explore other learning opportunities. Programs within the OSMO: Word allows my students to practice their spelling words and use their critical thinking skills. Newton teaches creative problem solving skills and fosters social-emotional skills and creative thinking. Pizza Co. teaches children real-world math, money, fractions and nonverbal communication skills. Coding Jam allows my students to use their creative/critical thinking skills to create music while coding.
