In my classroom, I use two (extremely) awesome, yet extremely print heavy items- LLI and Reading A-Z. These programs allow me to deal with the specific needs of each reader in my classroom. Using these programs in my classroom allow the students to read more books- on their independent reading level- to enhance and strengthen their literary skill. These books can be taken home and read, reread, and kept to build home libraries for the children. They work awesome in my classroom, but they use ALOT of paper. The printer would allow me to make the copies I need to keep my students reading!
