In my special education classroom, I will be teaching two grade levels at once. I will be giving direct instruction to one group of students while the others work independently. Giving the students a variety of seating options when they are working independently is very important to me. I want my classroom to be a safe and comfortable environment my students enjoy coming into every day. I have many students with severe ADHD as well as many with autism. These sensory friendly items will help the students focus and learn in the best way they see fit. I have purchased many items personally to make alternative seating a reality in my classroom, but really need your help to make it successful! We need wobble chairs, a standing desk, bouncy bands, and yoga ball chairs. Thank you for your positive thoughts and consideration to my classroom!
