Our classroom is one of a unique and engaging learning environment. When you walk in, rarely will you see me in the front of the room lecturing, rather you'll see a student at the Promethean interactive white board re-delivering a lesson to a group of peers, clusters of students scattered around the room working on a variety of standards on a variety of levels (usually collaborating on assignments via Gmail, Google Docs, Classflow, and other technological outlets), and some taking a break from the groups to read or reflect independently. Our children are growing up in a fast-paced world much unlike the one we were raised in. This can be very unfamiliar and quite scary to some parents and it is up to educators, like myself, to see that they are prepared to positively embrace the ever changing world they face as they grow. These young minds are our future EVERYTHING! :)
