As a first year teacher, I want to create the best possible learning environment for my fifth graders. The goal for my classroom is to create a culture of comfortability and success. For this reason, I believe in implementing flexible seating. This project will allow my classroom to have various seating options for each individual. Flexible seating will allow students to move freely and keep their minds engaged while learning. Having a multitude of options will allow students to choose a seat that works best for them in their learning style and needs. Choice and freedom nurtures independence and responsible decision making at an early age. These skills are crucial to success in all stages of life. I thank you in advance for any donation that you are willing to invest in my classroom. The addition of hokki stools and ball chairs will create the flexible, focused environment that I strive to achieve. I know that my students will greatly appreciate the freedom to learn comfortably and safely. Our classroom will be a great learning environment because of you!
