Students love when they can personalize their own learning. They are more engaged and more likely to succeed when they are relating their learning to something they have created and have interest in. By having a sprocket photo printer to access in the classroom we can take pictures of students to personalize work. We can use it for many more things too. We can use it when building with legos in writing and math notebooks to add their own personal touch. We can go on real world scavenger hunts to search for shapes in real life as well as words and word sounds that we are working on to make their learning more meaningful. Students can take pictures of things they are interested in and out. Students will be engaged in their learning while tapping into their creative side!
