While visiting Washington, D.C., our students will participate in a college tour of Howard University, a tour the Frederick Douglas National Historical Site, watch the Changing of the Guard, visit the Smithsonian and African American Museum, along with other sights. Students will learn about culture, history, horticulture, and different types of foods. Pre/Post test questions will confirm their overall understanding of the information gained from this trip! Students will learn about culture, history, horticulture, and different types of foods. Pre/Post test questions will confirm their overall understanding of the information gained from this trip! Our students will gain further insight on parts of history that are extemely important in their education! Students will tour together in small groups, thus utilizing their 21st Century Skills, upon evaluating their learning objectives.
