My students all have a variety of needs. Hyperactivity, self control, and stress brought from home all contribute to their ability to focus and learn while at school. Recently we have began yoga in the mornings to teach control, mindfulness, and children to relax and release their stress prior to beginning academics for the day. This practice is really helping students to relax and calm their minds in the morning. The room we use does not have carpet. It has a tile floor. Therefore we are in need of yoga mats and gripper socks for student safety. Yoga blocks and also be used to help students keep balance. We really feel this practice is increasing the academics of our students and would love to provide the correct tools to help strengthen their practice. Thank You!
