Students learn many different life and people skills in a physical education classroom. The biggest lessons taught are sportsmanship and how to work together to achieve a common goal. As a Title I school, funds are not made readily available for P.E. equipment. The current pieces of equipment we use are torn, dated, or even broken. The new equipment would allow my students to play a multitude of new games. This time in P.E., along with the games, give kids a much needed break from the regular classroom. It is also a great time for the teachers to regroup or prepare for the next portion of the day.
