The use of a GoPro will enhance my students' learning experiences tremendously. There is a huge emphasis on collecting data, and making our thinking public and with this tool, students will be able to do both! The accessories will allow students the freedom to determine how to best collect data and share it. Your generous donation will allow students to capture images and video that highlight and enhance their science learning experiences and provide them the opportunity to do the work of real scientists. By using a GoPro camera, students will be able to collect evidence and share their learning of every aspect in science. They will capture photos and videos of the urban wildlife around our school, submerge the camera to increase their understanding of properties of matter, and record shadow data to support their explanations of the Earth-Sun system.
